Hello and welcome!
Historically Speaking is the official blog of Villanova University's Graduate Program. Located in suburban Philadelphia, Villanova University offers an MA in History, a combined MA in History and Public Administration with a certificate in Non-Profit Management, and certificates in History, American History, Pre-Modern European History, Modern European History, and World History.
This blog has a few overarching aims: to grant a broader, more public, and visible arena to the grad students; allow a space for discussion about the history discipline, facilitate connections with other students and program alumni, and keep people updated on what’s going on around the department and around town that might be interesting academically and culturally.
Historically Speaking is maintained by current students, for current students (plus alumni, faculty, family, friends, and potential students).
